Events to include: Cape Town Pride Parade (March 1st), Parade Party, Pink Ball, Pride’s closing party typically hosted by a number of gay venues around the city - in GreenPoint: Alexander Bar, Amsterdam Action Bar, Backroom Bar, Beefcakes, Beaulah BarCafé, Manhattan, Crew Bar; + Darkspot in Malmsbury & Valerie’s in Kuils River.
April 30 - May 4, 2014. In Knsyna. Five days of shows, entertainment, mini-market + flamboyant fun. Drag shows, beauty pageants, art exhibits, all-night jparties, Saturday street parade with floats + street performances + after party. Awards for best: floats/ pedestrian groups, costume In parade, Mr Pink Loerie, Miss & Me Pink Loerie, Miss Butch & Miss Femme Pink Loerie.
In 2014? OIA held 3 festivals of 9 days each in 2013 - in April, July, and October, with GLBT feature films & shorts at Nu Metro, V&A Waterfront.
